PKI-Facile plugin is a multi-middleware, multi-platform, multi-browser, lightweight component to facilitate the development of web-based digital certification applications. Use smart cards and tokens in an unified way, regardless of middleware, browser and Operating System

 

Main features:

  • Automatic detection of readers and cards: access any PKI token or any PKI smart card plugged in any reader in your system
  • Easy way to sign data with PKI cards: signing data is easy as 1,2,3. You can also use the plugin in conjunction with PKI-Facile Host, a server-side component that makes the server validation process much simpler
  • Accessible directly via HTML and JavaScript™ or Java™: PKI-Facile plugin can be directly accessed via your current web application without the need of pre-installing any additional software
  • Multi-middleware, multi-browser, multi-OS: Supports Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome in several versions of Windows and Linux. PKI-Facile works with any PKI middleware

Technical details:

  • Supports any PKI device, including both smart cards and tokens
  • Supports both PKCS#11 (Public Key Cryptographic Standard) and Microsoft CryptoAPI / CSP (Cryptographic Service Provider) interfaces
  • Supports multiple readers, cards and tokens simultaneously plugged in
