SMARTCON exhibits at CIAB 2011

SMARTCON exhibits again at CIAB, the biggest IT trade show in Latin America.
With the theme “Technology beyond the web”, CIAB 2011 will take place between June 15th and June 17th at Transamérica Expo Center, in São Paulo – SP, Brazil. With more than 5.1 thousand square meters of total exhibition area, this is one of the biggest technology trade shows in the continent.

This year, SMARTCON will be at a special area at CIAB: the “Innovation Space”. The “Innovation Area” is a booth dedicated to showcase innovative solutions to the banking market. The ”Innovation Area” is a joint effort from the Software Technology Institute (ITS) and the BrazilianBank Federation (FEBRABAN).

During CIAB, SMARTCON will be showcasing a new product – SMARTCON® Secure Internet Payments, or SSIP for short  — an electronic payment solution based in cell phones or tablets and an EMV application loaded into a “microSD” secure element. The solution combines  smart card security with smart phone convenience to create a secure and portable environment for Internet payment transactions.
