The Perseval tool aids in validation and debugging during the personalization of MasterCard and Visa test cards for Type Approval testing. The tool helps validate cards by verifying cryptography and comparing the card’s personalized data with a reference extracted from the official profile requirement documents. Perseval allows the pre-validation of cards, which means that errors are detected early in the validation process and time is saved because problems are avoided later on in the personalization of the card. This means that users keep a tighter schedule and the duplication of cards from manufacturers is reduced.

Components

The Perseval tool comes with a reference library that includes all the standard profiles. Perseval lets users check both internal and dynamic card data thanks to its RSA and TDES cryptographic modules which allow you to verify the card’s cryptography aswell as Application Cryptogram and Script Processing commands.
